Chinatown Tour with Chef Ange Branca

On Saturday, November 1, 2025, chef Ange Branca of Kampar and Tiny Table Tours founder Maddy Sweitzer-Lamme will lead a food tour of Philly’s Chinatown, exploring the best of this vibrant and delicious neighborhood.
Guests will take a private dumpling-making class with Shizou Da, co-owner of Dim Sum Garden and a 6th generation soup dumpling expert. We’ll try the city’s best Peking duck, learn about the Vietnamese history of Chinatown at Vietnam Restaurant, explore the grocery stores of Chinatown with chef Ange, and much more.
Come hungry and expect lots of eating, walking, and learning about Chinatown.

Dim Sum Garden for a soup dumpling-making class and dumpling sampler.
Sang Kee for Peking duck.
Vietnam Restaurant for Vietnamese classics and cocktails
& much more!
This tour will start at 1pm at Sang Kee and run about 4 hours. We’ll end nearby in Chinatown.
The tour is limited to just 12 guests to insure an intimate group experience. We’re unable to accommodate dietary restrictions for this tour. Tickets are nonrefundable and the tour will run rain or shine.
