  • Our tours are led by people who actually work in restaurants, and they’re built on real relationships with the city’s food community. They’re also designed by owner-operator Maddy Sweitzer-Lammé, a local food journalist who has spent much of her career writing about Philly’s restaurants. That means better food, more access, and a perspective you won’t get on a standard scripted tour.

  • Both! We’re proud that many of our guests are locals who are surprised and delighted by how much they learn about neighborhoods they’ve visited many times. Even if you know the area, the behind-the-scenes access we offer can change how you experience Philadelphia.

  • We keep our groups small (typically around 8–12 guests) so the experience stays personal and flexible. It’s like hanging out with a friend who happens to know a ton about Philly and its restaurant scene.

  • Yes, advance booking is strongly recommended, and many tours sell out. If you have a specific date in mind, it’s best to reserve early.
