Our tours cover about 1–1.5 miles at a relaxed pace, with plenty of stops along the way. It’s an easy, conversational walk through the neighborhood, not a hike.

Our tours are led by people who actually work in restaurants, and they’re built on real relationships with the city’s food community. They’re also designed by owner-operator Maddy Sweitzer-Lammé, a local food journalist who has spent much of her career writing about Philly’s restaurants. That means better food, more access, and a perspective you won’t get on a standard scripted tour.

We keep our groups small (typically 8–12 guests) so the experience stays personal and flexible. It’s like hanging out with a friend who happens to know a ton about Philly and its restaurant scene.

Yes, advance booking is strongly recommended, and many tours sell out. If you have a specific date in mind, it’s best to reserve early.

Yes, our private tours are fully customizable. During the booking process, you’ll work with TTT’s owner, Maddy Sweitzer-Lamme, to shape the route, pace, and overall experience based on your group’s interests.

Wear comfortable shoes and come ready to eat and drink. We recommend bringing water and dressing for the weather, as tours run rain or shine. You can also bring cash to tip your guide if you love your tour (we also accept Venmo).

We offer full refunds or the option to reschedule your tour, as long as you do so more than 72 hours before the start time of your tour. After that, we’re unable to offer refunds or accommodate rescheduling for any reason.

Our tours run rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather or circumstances that cause restaurants to close, we’ll be in touch via phone and email to offer refunds or the option to reschedule.

Our Beyond the Italian Market tour is the best choice for first-time visitors to Philadelphia (though locals also love this tour for it’s curation and behind-the-scenes access).

The Beyond the Italian Market tour includes a glass of wine at the end of the tour. Private tours can be customized to your preference.

The Fishtown Wine & Drinks tour includes 3 stops at wine bars, wineries, and other beverage-focused businesses, each with curated tastings and a guided experience led by a restaurant professional. In total, you’ll be offered about 4 full drinks (no pressure to finish them all). All snacks and drinks are included in the ticket price.

The Beyond the Italian Market tour includes 6 food stops throughout South Philadelphia and the Italian Market, with generous tastings at each. We think of it as a walking lunch. You’ll visit a mix of markets, bakeries, and restaurants, led by a restaurant professional with deep knowledge of the neighborhood. All food and drinks are included in the ticket price.

Because this tour is more beverage-focused, it’s easy to avoid most dietary restrictions or allergens by skipping the provided snacks (this tour is about the drinks anyway)!
