  • Each tour includes multiple food and/or drink stops (typically 3–6), generous tastings at each, and a guided walking experience led by a restaurant professional. You’ll visit a mix of food businesses like restaurants, wine bars, and bakeries, with stories and context you wouldn’t get on your own.

  • Yes, most guests find the portions generous and filling. The amount of food depends on which tour you choose. Check out our tour offerings for more details. 

  • Our tours cover about 1–1.5 miles at a relaxed pace, with plenty of stops along the way. It’s an easy, conversational walk through the neighborhood, not a hike.

  • Our tours take place in South Philly and the Italian Market, as well as Fishtown, Chinatown, and other Philadelphia neighborhoods. Check out our tour page for location information on each route.

  • Our tours are designed for curious eaters - both first-time visitors and longtime Philly locals. If you’re interested in food, restaurants, and how the industry actually works, you’ll feel right at home.

  • Both! We’re proud that many of our guests are locals who are surprised and delighted by how much they learn about neighborhoods they’ve visited many times. Even if you know the area, the behind-the-scenes access we offer can change how you experience Philadelphia.

  • Yes, we can accommodate most dietary restrictions, including vegetarian, with advance notice. See our tour FAQ on this page for route-specific information. When booking, include all dietary restrictions in the provided box.   • Our tours are led by people who actually work in restaurants, and they’re built on real relationships with the city’s food community. They’re also designed by owner-operator Maddy Sweitzer-Lammé, a local food journalist who has spent much of her career writing about Philly’s restaurants. That means better food, more access, and a perspective you won’t get on a standard scripted tour.

  • We keep our groups small (typically 8–12 guests) so the experience stays personal and flexible. It’s like hanging out with a friend who happens to know a ton about Philly and its restaurant scene.

  • Yes, advance booking is strongly recommended, and many tours sell out. If you have a specific date in mind, it’s best to reserve early.

  • Yes, most of our tours can be booked privately. Private tours offer a more personalized experience and can be tailored to your group’s interests.

  • Yes, our private tours are fully customizable. During the booking process, you’ll work with TTT’s owner, Maddy Sweitzer-Lamme, to shape the route, pace, and overall experience based on your group’s interests.

  • Wear comfortable shoes and come ready to eat and drink. We recommend bringing water and dressing for the weather, as tours run rain or shine. You can also bring cash to tip your guide if you love your tour (we also accept Venmo).

  • We offer full refunds or the option to reschedule your tour, as long as you do so more than 72 hours before the start time of your tour. After that, we’re unable to offer refunds or accommodate rescheduling for any reason.

  • Our tours run rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather or circumstances that cause restaurants to close, we’ll be in touch via phone and email to offer refunds or the option to reschedule.

  • Our Beyond the Italian Market tour is the best choice for first-time visitors to Philadelphia (though locals also love this tour for it’s curation and behind-the-scenes access).

    It explores one of Philadelphia’s most iconic food neighborhoods and offers a broad, well-rounded introduction to the city’s food culture.

  • Our tours differ in focus, neighborhood, and overall experience. The Beyond the Italian Market tour is a classic, food-focused walking tour through South Philadelphia.

    The Fishtown Wine & Drinks tour highlights Philadelphia’s bar and beverage scene. Private tours are fully customizable and designed around your group’s interests.

  • The Fishtown Wine & Drinks tour is centered around beverages, including wine and other drinks.

    The Beyond the Italian Market tour includes a glass of wine at the end of the tour. Private tours can be customized to your preference.

  • The Fishtown Wine & Drinks tour includes 3 stops at wine bars, wineries, and other beverage-focused businesses, each with curated tastings and a guided experience led by a restaurant professional. In total, you’ll be offered about 4 full drinks (no pressure to finish them all). All snacks and drinks are included in the ticket price.

  • The Beyond the Italian Market tour includes 6 food stops throughout South Philadelphia and the Italian Market, with generous tastings at each. We think of it as a walking lunch. You’ll visit a mix of markets, bakeries, and restaurants, led by a restaurant professional with deep knowledge of the neighborhood. All food and drinks are included in the ticket price. 

  • We can accommodate most dietary restrictions on the Beyond the Italian Market tour, including vegetarian, with advance notice. When booking, please note any serious allergies or dietary restrictions in the provided box.

    Vegetarians & pescatarians

    Vegans
    We can accommodate vegans at 3 of 6 stops. You’ll still learn a lot, have a great time, and walk away feeling full!

    Gluten sensitivities
    We can accommodate gluten sensitivities at 5 of 6 stops. You’ll still learn a lot, have a great time, and walk away feeling full!

    Celiac disease
    We can accommodate gluten allergies at 5 of 6 stops, but there is always a risk of cross-contamination due to the nature of the small businesses we work with. Please use your discretion or reach out with any questions. 

    Allergies
    We can accommodate allergies on a case-by-case basis, depending on severity. Please note your allergy in detail when booking. There is always a risk of cross-contamination due to the small businesses we work with.

    We do our very best to inform guests and keep everyone healthy. Please share any serious allergies or dietary restrictions with as much notice as possible. We do not accept liability for any adverse reactions to anything eaten on the tour. By booking, you acknowledge this and accept responsibility for all food and drinks consumed on the tour.

  • We can accommodate almost all dietary restrictions on the Fishtown Wine & Drinks tour. Because this tour is more beverage-focused, it’s easy to avoid most dietary restrictions or allergens by skipping the provided snacks (this tour is about the drinks anyway)! If you have other concerns, feel free to shoot us an email at info@tinytabletours.com.

  • Parking varies by neighborhood, but we generally recommend arriving by rideshare or public transportation. We’ll send detailed meeting point instructions and parking tips after booking.

  • The Beyond the Italian Market tour begins at Columbus Square Park in South Philly and ends in the Italian Market. You’ll receive the exact meeting location after booking. 

  • The Fishtown Wine & Drinks tour begins at Mural City Cellars and ends at Pips. You’ll receive the exact meeting location after booking.
